I was NINE when I read them for SCHOOL! Anyway, I think the whole banned books thing is ridiculous. I mean, I’ve heard of cases where a parent of a elementary student will challenge certain books being available in the school library. It was interesting to see how everyone reacted to and supported BBW. It's a bit like the Nazi burning books, really. A few years ago my German teachr told me that in Germany Hitler's book "Mein Kampf" is banned, and that he actually had to come to Italy (where I live) to read it. I don't agree with banning it... Yes, it's a dangerous book, but I think it's important as a historical document. We read a bit of it in school when studying Nazism.
