Review
Sleepless was a nail biting, gut wrenching, mystery, with enough twists and turns to make your head spin! I enjoyed reading this new and very hypnotic read yet, i always felt like there was something missing. Yes, it had a great plot and yes, it was kind of freightning but still...i felt like there was just this large gap left un-touched and it really bothered me at the end.

Emma is the typical mousy burnett that you would expect in these "horror books". I hated that. Seriously why is that we burnett's always have to be stuck in this kind of situations when the blondes remain safe and sound in there little cookie cutter homes (no offense to blondes though!)? It's injustice i tell you! And of course she is in love with the handsome-yet-so-out-of-her-league-but-is-still-somehow-attracted-to-her guy...ugh! Really? Come on! Although the plot was interesting and very well thought out the two main characters of the novel are just so typical!

If you ignore the characters and pay more attention to the plot though, it IS kind of cool. All the voodoo and hypnotisim stiff really catches your eye and you definitly want to read more. The deaths are also very creepy which totally makes up for the lack of character originality. I couldn't really come up with a playlist for this book though because unfortunately it didn't inspire me enough:( but if you're looking for a quick and scary read pick up Sleepless and tell me what you think!
