Synopsis
To be irrevocably in love with a vampire is both fantasy and nightmare woven into a dangerously heightened reality for Bella Swan. Pulled in one direction by her intense passion for Edward Cullen, and in another by her profound connection to werewolf Jacob Black, she has endured a tumultuous year of temptation, loss, and strife to reach the ultimate turning point. Her imminent choice to either join the dark but seductive world of immortals or pursue a fully human life has become the thread from which the date of two tribes hangs. Now Bella has made her decision; a startling chain of unprecedented events is about to unfold with potentially devastating and unfathomable consequences. Just when the frayed strands of Bella's life--first discovered in "Twilight," then scattered and torn in "New Moon" and "Eclipse"--seem ready to heal and knit together, could they be destroyed...forever?
Review
So i don't know what all this big up-roar about Breaking Dawn is! I think this quite possibly book is the best book of the whole series! It starts off wiht Bella freaking out about her recent engagement to her vampire fiance Edward Cullen and goes deep into her thoughts and nervousness about the whole situation. From there it talks about the recent departure of her former best friend Jacob Black who she rejected in favor of Edward. Now after the wedding and a quick encounter with depressed Jacob, Edward and her go off on their honeymoon and make love for the first time. Now this wouldnt be such a big problem if Bella hadn't gotten- duh duh duh! PREGNANT! haha this didnt come as much of a suprise to me as it did other readers because 1) where else can you go after marriage and 2) the birth of Renesmee (their baby) was essential to the bonding of Edward and Bella. The Volturi catch wind of this half vampire half human baby and set out to destroy it think it is a forbidden Immortal child. Since it is not a immortal child but a hybrid and Bella was succesfully turned into a vampire during labor the Volturi have no reason to kill the Cullen's and their many vampire friends come to help stop the Volturi. There are so many different characters in this book it just fascinates me to learn about all of them! This and Renesmee are the two best things about the book. The worst thing about the book is 1)there was no fight against the Volturi and 2) the end of the book meant the end of the saga. I love Breaking Dawn and it managed to be long, sad, funny, depressing, hopeful and whole bunch of other things at once! Theres so mcuh in the book i cant possibly tell you all of it so your only choice is to go out and READ IT yourself!

Synopsis

In the midst of it all, she is forced to choose between her love for Edward and her friendship with Jacob --- knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the ageless struggle between vampire and werewolf. With her graduation quickly approaching, Bella has one more decision to make: life or death. But which is which?
Review
The third book in the Twilight Saga, I have to say is the worst. Throught out the whole book Bella is faced with the complicated descicion on whether or not to stay with her love Edward or Jacob the young werewolf, all the while vengeful Victoria is building an army of new born vampires (crazy, wild and blood thirsty) to seek Bella out and redeem the death of her mate James. The only reason I gave this book the rating that i did is because this is the book where Edward and Bella finally decide on a compromise- Bella will marry Edward before he changes her. This is one of the best parts of the book, that and the witty and sarcastic personality of Jacob. In New Moon I didn't find Jacob half as attractive or interesting as Edward but by Eclipse i was completely in love! Jacob really catches your sympathy in Eclipse and you can't help but want Bella to choose him over Edward. Another thing that is really great in the book is the fact that it goes more into detail about the former lives of the Cullen family members and also the history of the Quiluetes. Rosalie, Jasper and Esme all share a little piece of thmselves with Bella which is quite interesting to read! The Quiluetes on the other hand are filled with pack drama and old legends of how they became. Though this book is not the best in the saga it is certaintly important to the collection. YOU NEED TO THIS READ THIS!

With the upcoming release of Twilight Saga's: New Moon in November 2009, I thought it would be appropriate and vital to review this just so you can get a bit of a summary from yours truly! Now I've already read the first book Twilight so it wasn't that hard to truly grasp and understand the characters in this bone chilling novel.

Synopsis

For Bella Swan, there is one thing more important than life itself: Edward Cullen. But being in love with a vampire is even more dangerous than Bella ever could have imagined. Edward has already rescued Bella from the clutches of one evil vampire, but now, as their daring relationship threatens all that is near and dear to them, they realize their troubles may be just beginning. . . .

Review

Okay so first of all let me warn you! This book is super depressing! When Bella's vampire love Edward left it nearly tore me apart! For some people, including me, this may be the most appealing part of the novel- the ability to touch you with it's general emotions. In this book we are more formally introduced to Jacob Black, Bella Swan's younger and mysterious friend who lives down in La Push, a Quiluete Indian reservation. Little does Bella know, Jacob is actually a werewolf which is the mortal enemy of her flighty love Edward. Even through the whole werewolf thing...Bella begins to heal from Edwards departure due to Jacob's friendship and soon his love. It is the ultimate love triangle to me! In this book Jacob may seem a little annoying but by the end your falling in love with him as well, so it's easy to see why Bella has a hard time choosing between holding on to Edward and moving on with Jacob. This, I believe, is one of the best books of the Saga...but also one of the saddest. PREPARE TO BE HEARTBROKEN THE WHOLE STORY!

Thanks for Listening,
Christina

Twilight
by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: Great!
Difficult: Normal
Pages: 498

Twilight is not only a global phenomenon, it is also a great book! Since this was the first book that got me into reading, it'll be the first book I review! It took me a little less then a day to read this at first but if and when you read this you should savor it! Take your time to appreciate every sentence and every character carefully!

Synopsis

Isabella Swan's move to Forks, a small, perpetually rainy town in Washington, could have been the most boring move she ever made. But once she meets the mysterious and alluring Edward Cullen, Isabella's life takes a thrilling and terrifying turn. Up until now, Edward has managed to keep his vampire identity a secret in the small community he lives in, but now nobody is safe, especially Bella, the person Edward holds most dear. The lovers find themselves balanced precariously on the point of a knife -- between desire and danger. Deeply romantic and extraordinarily suspenseful, Twilight captures the struggle between defying our instincts and satisfying our desires. This is a love story with bite.

Review

Freshly original and shockingly romantic, Twilight has become one of my favorite books on the bookshelf! Isabella or Bella Swan's character is klutzy and naive, which is easy to relate to, while Edward Cullen's (sigh) character is hypnotic and charming! This is the ultimate story of forbidden yet true love! The characters are caught in a life or death situation that tests there love and trust, making suspenseful yet mesmerizing! Like all books there is some points that are not to great- like the over klutzy-ness of Bella or the overprotective-ness of Edward, of course these characteristics can be easily overlooked when viewing the book as a whole. When I first started to read this book I was instantly intrigued and then hooked! It IS MOST DEFINITLEY A MUST READ!

Sincerely,

Christina!
